Discover family mills

The Family Mills originated in Chars with the historic mill of the Maurey family, reopened in 1903 by Fernand Maurey, great-grandfather of Thomas, a representative of the fourth generation of millers.

Over the years, the Maurey family has not only expanded the Moulins de Chars but also invested by buying Moulins de Chérisy (28), le Moulin Paul Dupuis (76) and Moulins de Brasseuil (78), creating Les Moulins Familiaux.

Today, our mills are equipped with ultra-modern production tools that combine technology and food safety to produce high-quality French flours.

As a result, our mills and flours are certified to the highest quality standards: Organic, Label Rouge (with regional 100 % channel), CRC, Produced in the Paris Region, Flavours of Normandy and are FSSC22000, GMP+ and IFS certified.

🎄 How did 2025 turn out for you? For us, it went like this:🌾 The roller mill was completely refurbished, modernized and enlarged. A large-scale project to produce more, better and sustainably.🎓 On the Academy side, more than 400 participants joined us, discussing 40 essential themes: viennoiseries, signature breads, range management, etc. Thank you to all the passionate speakers and to the artisans who are curious to share and learn together 💃 A new addition to the family of flours: La Félicita. A flour that makes taste buds swing and heads turn (to be discovered without delay in your bakeries).🏆 And of course, our brilliant customers at regional, national and world competitions.
